Whether you are planning a birthday party, family celebration, business meeting or regular social event, Brockhole is the perfect venue for every occasion.
Ideally situated in a stunning location on the main A591 between Windermere and Ambleside, each of our three meeting rooms offer views over Lake Windermere and the Langdales.
Brockhole is also available for weddings, civil marriages and civil partnerships.
Claife room
A spacious airy room with views towards Claife Heights:
- Seats up to 16 people in a boardroom style
- Flipchart and pens, digital projector and screen available.
Langdale room
The room has spectacular views northwest towards the Langdales:
- Seats up to 20 people in a boardroom style or 50 theatre style
- Flipchart and pens, digital projector and screen available.
Windermere room
This room sits between Claife and Langdale and can be booked in conjunction with either Claife or as a suite of all three rooms of Claife, Windermere and Langdale rooms.
- A flexible space with tables and chairs, lending itself to a variety of layouts
- Flipchart and pens.
Rates
- Costs include the use of flipcharts, pens and audio visual equipment in the Langdale and Claife rooms
- Discounts available for the combined hire of two or more rooms.

Catering
We offer a range of catering options from teas, coffees and biscuits to three course meals. Our café is fully licensed. We'll be happy to quote for your particular requirements.
Travel and transport
Car parking
As an eco centre, we would encourage car sharing or arrival by public transport where possible. We have ample parking on site, but charges do apply and are not included in room hire costs. However, discounts may be available for fully catered all-day bookings.
