Working in partnership with United Utilities our Learning and Engagement team here at Brockhole on Windermere deliver FREE half day Water Workshops and assemblies in school for Cumbrian and North Lancashire Schools.

Every action counts! Positive things that your pupils can do to live more sustainably.

Places are limited and fill up fast so book now!

We have been delivering these popular workshops to schools for a number of years. The workshop is ideally suited to Key Stage 2 pupils and fits with many National Curriculum learning outcomes in both Science and Geography as well as Maths and English. Sessions cover:

  • Water efficiency (Importance of water, how much we use, how we can reduce our water usage and why that’s important)
  • The Water Cycle (where does our water come from and what happens to our dirty water)
  • Water Treatment
  • ‘Stop the block’

If you are a budding eco-school or thinking about the environment or water in your topics this session would fit in perfectly.

The half day workshops take place in school either in the morning or afternoon and work best in your normal classrooms. The children work in pairs and small groups, so we find it best just to fit in with your normal seating arrangements.

We can adapt and be flexible to suit individual schools.

We are now taking bookings until July 2024.
