Use of AI Voice Assistants
To help improve customer service and accessibility, we use AI-powered voice assistants for certain phone enquiries and support services.
These systems may process the information you provide during the call, including your name, booking reference, or nature of your enquiry. Calls may also be recorded for training and quality purposes. Where recording is active, you will be informed at the start of the call.
By continuing with the call, you consent to speaking with an AI assistant and the processing of your information to handle your enquiry. You may request to speak to a human at any time. Any data collected is stored securely, used only for support-related purposes, and handled in full compliance with GDPR.
Voice assistant data (e.g. transcripts or recordings) is retained for a maximum of 90 days, unless there is an operational need to keep it longer. All data is deleted securely after this period.
Our AI systems are provided by Elyte AI, a UK-based automation provider with a GDPR-compliant data handling policy. Elyte AI acts as a data processor, operating under a signed Data Processing Agreement with the Lake District National Park Authority. You can view their privacy policy at:

We may use third-party services to support our operations, including booking systems provided by Benveno and tools from Retell AI, Elyte AI, which provides voice agents and automations to streamline customer interactions. These partners help us maintain an efficient and user-friendly experience.
