🌟 Free, Fun & Family-Friendly 2K Runs for Ages 4–14

Get ready to lace up those trainers, Junior parkrun is coming to Brockhole on Windermere this June! It’s a fantastic, free 2K event designed just for kids aged 4–14, and it’s all about fun, fitness, and fresh air. Whether your child is a speedy sprinter or a happy walker, everyone is welcome to join in and enjoy the beautiful lakeside setting.

Both events start at 9:00 AM sharp, so be sure to arrive a little early to get settled and ready to go! parkrun.org.uk

🎉 What to Expect

• A Safe, Scenic Course: Our 2K route winds through Brockhole’s stunning grounds, offering kids a chance to enjoy nature while they run.

• All Abilities Welcome: Whether your child wants to run, jog, or walk, Junior parkrun is all about participation and enjoyment.

• Friendly Volunteers: Our team of cheerful volunteers will be there to guide, cheer, and ensure everyone has a great time.
  

📝 How to Join

1. Register Online: Sign up for free at parkrun registration.

2. Print Your Barcode: After registering, print your child’s unique barcode and bring it along to each event.

3. Arrive Early: Aim to be at Brockhole by 8:45 AM to warm up and get ready for the run.
   

Remember, no barcode means no official time, so don’t forget it!

• Adventure Playground: Let the kids burn off more energy in our fantastic playground, featuring climbing frames, slides, and fun for all ages.

• Boat Hire on Windermere: Explore the lake with our easy-to-use kayaks and rowing boats—no experience needed!

• Beautiful Gardens & Trails: Take a leisurely stroll through our scenic gardens or enjoy a family picnic by the lake.

• Café & Refreshments: Treat yourselves to delicious food and drinks at our on-site café.
