Meet Siobhan, who has a little more info to share with you about Pet Encounter
At Pet Encounter, our mission is to educate and inspire with our animals from around the world. We offer a unique, hands on experience, explaining the natural habitats of our animals, as well as their individual diets and needs. We also fly some of our birds to showcase their impressive skills.
80% of our animals are rescues or rehomed. Many animals come to us from unfortunate backgrounds and we work alongside our vets to get them back into good health. On average, we are contacted 10 times per week to take in animals. When we can't take an animal in ourselves we work tirelessly to find them a forever home with loving owners that understand the history and needs of each individual animal.
Take a look below at just a small handful of our animals enjoying a lovely summers day at Brockhole.
A Pet Encounter ticket will give you access to a full hour inside the activity area as well as a wildlife & nature trail sheet to complete around the Brockhole grounds.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Adults may purchase an adult only ticket which does not include the extra wildlife & nature trail sheet.
Activity start times
10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30
*Please note - the name of the third party group based in Cumbria is 'Pet Encounter', however, Brockhole does not endorse these animals as being kept as pets by most people. Whilst very cute, some of these animals are not suitable to be kept as pets without the specific knowledge and licenses needed. Thank you for understanding*
